Kick stores a past broadcast as a long chain of short pieces. NeoDownloader fetches them all and joins them into one MP4 with picture and sound, at the best quality Kick keeps under the ceiling you set in the wizard, whether the stream lasted twenty minutes or ten hours.
Kick deletes old broadcasts after a while, so a replay saved to your disk outlives the one on the site. The free version stops at 1080p; Premium takes whatever Kick keeps above that. The video is not upscaled or re-encoded.
A broadcast of many hours makes a file of many gigabytes: to keep it smaller, choose a lower quality in the wizard. A broadcast still on the air is not downloaded; once it ends, it downloads as a past broadcast if the channel keeps them.
Kick Clip Downloader: One Clip or a Whole Channel
A single clip needs only its address - kick.com/…/clips/… - and arrives as an MP4 with sound, named after its title. For a channel's clips, open its Clips tab on Kick, pick the sorting and the time range there, then copy the address and paste it: every clip that view lists goes into one project under the channel's name.
The address carries the sorting and the period you chose on the page, so choose them before you copy. Without them, the clips are the most viewed of the week, as the page first shows them.
