How to Download Kick VODs, Clips and Videos
Kick has no download button of its own, and its help sends you to outside tools. To save the VODs and clips you watch - one, several or a whole channel - three steps:

A past broadcast downloads whole, however long it is, as one MP4 file with its picture and sound, in the best quality Kick keeps for it, no higher than the quality you chose in the wizard.
Kick keeps past broadcasts only for a while and then deletes them; a VOD you download stays on your computer. The free version goes up to 1080p; Premium takes whatever Kick has above it. Nothing is enlarged or re-compressed.
A broadcast of many hours makes a file of many gigabytes: to keep it smaller, choose a lower quality in the wizard. A broadcast still on the air is not downloaded; once it ends, it downloads as a past broadcast if the channel keeps them.
Kick Clip Downloader: One Clip or a Whole Channel
Paste a clip's address - kick.com/…/clips/… - and it downloads as an MP4 file with its sound, named with its title. For all the clips of a channel, open its clips on Kick, choose the sorting and the period, and copy the address: the clips download into one project, named after the channel.
The address carries the sorting and the period you chose on the page, so choose them before you copy. Without them, the clips are the most viewed of the week, as the page first shows them.

How do I save a Kick stream before it is deleted?
Kick keeps a broadcast as a past broadcast when the channel stores them, and only for a while. To keep it for good, download it: copy the address of the past broadcast, or of the channel for all its past broadcasts, and paste it into “New project”.
Can I download a long Kick VOD?
Yes. A past broadcast downloads whole, however long it is, as one MP4 file. A long broadcast makes a large file, so check that the disk has room for it, or choose a lower quality in the wizard.
Do I need a Kick account?
