Please read these terms of service carefully before using NeoDownloader software or website. They are between you and Neowise Software, the maker of NeoDownloader.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website or downloading and using NeoDownloader software, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site and software.

Software License

NeoDownloader is licensed to you under the End User License Agreement, which you accept when you install it. Where these terms and that agreement differ about the software, the agreement applies; what follows is a summary.

Free Version

NeoDownloader is provided as freeware for personal use only. You may:

  • Install and use the software on multiple computers for personal use

  • Make copies for backup purposes

  • Download up to 100 images, 10 videos, and 10 other files per project

  • Create up to 10 projects

  • Download videos in quality up to 1080p

Premium Version

The Premium version requires a one-time payment of $29.95 and includes:

  • Unlimited images, videos, and files per project

  • Unlimited number of projects

  • Video quality up to 8K

  • Priority email support

  • 1 year of free updates (renewal available at $19.95/year)

  • Installation on up to 5 computers for the same user

The versions released during your period of updates remain yours permanently. A version released after it runs as the Free version until the license is renewed.

The license key may not be shared with other users. It may be transferred to another person only with our written consent, as the agreement describes.

Plugins and Recipes

The plugins and site recipes that come with NeoDownloader are open source under the MIT License: you may read, change, and share them under its terms (section 5 of the agreement).

Use Restrictions

You agree NOT to use NeoDownloader to:

  • Use downloaded content in a way that infringes the rights of its copyright holders

  • Overload servers or disrupt normal website operations

  • Collect personal data without consent

  • Engage in any illegal or harmful activities

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of NeoDownloader complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and third-party terms of service.

Copyright and Intellectual Property

NeoDownloader respects intellectual property rights. The software is designed as a tool for legitimate downloading purposes. It is your responsibility to:

  • Obtain the permissions that your use of copyrighted content requires

  • Respect the rights of content creators and copyright holders

  • Comply with applicable copyright laws in your jurisdiction

  • Review and follow the terms of service of websites you download from

  • Licensed under Creative Commons or similar licenses

Disclaimer of Warranties

NeoDownloader is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

We do not warrant that:

  • The software will meet your specific requirements

  • The software will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free

  • The results obtained from the use of the software will be accurate or reliable

  • Any errors in the software will be corrected

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Neowise Software or its developers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Your use of the software is at your own risk.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SOFTWARE OR THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED FIFTY US DOLLARS ($50 USD), REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION OR THE BASIS OF THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Neowise Software, its developers, affiliates, officers, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use or misuse of the software; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights; or (d) any content you download using the software.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use NeoDownloader or purchase a license. If you are under 18, you may only use the software with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.

Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for Premium purchases. If you are not satisfied with NeoDownloader Premium, you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase by contacting our support team.

Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days after approval.

Updates and Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of NeoDownloader after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Third-Party Services

NeoDownloader includes third-party components, among them Electron with the Chromium browser engine, the Python runtime, FFmpeg, and the download engines that some plugins bundle. Each of them is licensed under its own terms; section 7 of the agreement lists them and says where their license texts are. NeoDownloader uses these components and does not claim ownership of them.

DMCA / Copyright Claims

NeoDownloader respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content downloaded using our software infringes your copyright, please note that NeoDownloader is a tool - we do not host, store, or distribute any user-downloaded content.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to NeoDownloader and related services if you breach these Terms or the End User License Agreement. Upon termination, the licenses granted to you cease, and you must stop using the software.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international laws. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through good faith negotiation.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if modification is not possible, severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the End User License Agreement and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Neowise Software regarding the use of the software and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, whether electronic, oral, or written, between you and Neowise Software.
