How to Download Bluesky Videos, GIFs and Images
Bluesky lets you save a single image from its full-screen view. For videos and GIFs, several posts or a whole profile, three steps:

Copy a Bluesky Address
In your browser, open the post on Bluesky and copy its address from the address bar, or choose “Copy link to post” in the post's share menu. For several posts, copy each one's address; for everything an account has posted, copy the address of its profile.

Bluesky GIF Downloader: Both Kinds of GIF
A GIF on Bluesky is one of two things. Bluesky turns a GIF someone uploads into a short video without sound, and NeoDownloader saves it as an MP4 file. A GIF picked from Bluesky's GIF search is a link to a GIF file, and NeoDownloader saves that file as it is.
Paste the post's address into “New project”: for both kinds, NeoDownloader selects its Video Downloader plugin.
A GIF from the GIF search is saved at the size it was posted, on the free version too: its quality limit is for videos.
Bluesky Media Downloader: Every Image and Video of an Account
With “Media” ticked, NeoDownloader goes through every post of the account that has images or a video, newest first, and saves the files into the account's folder. Reposts of other people's posts are left out: what comes down is the account's own.
Tick “Videos” instead to take only the account's videos. Run the project again later, and NeoDownloader downloads only the posts added since.
A whole profile needs no sign-in. On the free version a large profile stops at its limit on files per project; Premium lifts it.
Bluesky Image Downloader: Images as Uploaded, Videos in HD
The feed shows a reduced copy of an image, and the full-screen view a re-compressed one. NeoDownloader saves the image file that was uploaded with the post, the one Bluesky keeps.
A post's video comes in the best quality Bluesky has for it, no higher than the quality you chose in the wizard. The free version goes up to 1080p; Premium takes the uploaded file whatever its size. Nothing is enlarged or re-compressed.
In a list of posts, NeoDownloader chooses the plugin by the first address: when it is a video, the whole list goes to Video Downloader, which takes videos and GIFs only. To keep the images too, choose Gallery Downloader in the wizard's list.
